My love for art started when I was really young. Growing up as an only child with a single parent, I had to find ways to entertain myself. Seeing as I didn’t want to play outside due to the high chances of getting kidnaped, I opted to stay in indoors and rot my brain by watch TV instead. For hours, I would watch various cartoons from the educational Dora the Explorer to the multiple VHS tapes of addicting Disney movies. Each colorful and imaginative scene that would appear intrigued me to the point where I started drawing the characters I would see onto a napkin and would later show my mother my magnificent artwork as if it were the Mona Lisa. When I later found out that animation was a job, I decided to learn everything I could on my own and started to draw more and more everyday. Now, with our future seeming to look more digital, I shifted my passion to Visual Effects. Personally, art gives me an outlet to my chaotic life. I love how art allows me to convert my wacky imagination and ideas into tangible forms that triggers emotions and influence people. Film
Similar to art, film has always had a huge part of my life. Ever since I was little, my mom and I have had 'Saturday Movie Nights' where we pick some movies/tv shows to watch and order take-out. I am currently in my school's Cinema Focus Program where I create a few short films each year. I love all the different layers that go into making a films and how it creates a beautiful end result. I also like how films are able to transport people to new worlds with new people and cause the audience to feel certain emotions despite never experiencing the setting before. Its hard to chose a favorite film simply because each film is so different that its hard to choose just one. My wide range of tv shows/movies the ones I enjoy include:

Camping
As someone who loves the great outdoors and isolation, camping has always been one of my favorite things to do. And when I say camping, I don't mean the "glamping" that those instagram people do where they stay in a hotel. Im talking about in a tent on the dirt ground with a fire no matter if its 11° at night or 100° in the afternoon. One of the best things about camping is the food. Its basically hot dogs, burgers, and anything they have at the nearby diners. Camping gives me a break from school and social media. It allows me to appreciate what Earth has to offer and, with climate change slowly killing our environment, I am able to enjoy the nature before it goes away. So far, I have only taken road trips to national parks in California, Utah, and Arizona. But, I hope to at least camp in every state in the U.S.
